Sensational Sanisa

What the Model brings to a Shoot

Photo shoots can always be more exciting with added elements, but sometimes less is more. In this case, the less part happens to be the model's clothing.

At D&D we don't discriminate against a model's choice of baring it all or revealing less. We work with what we have, as long as the model feels comfortable we are happy.

The sensational Sanisa was kind enough though to not only bring her amazing self, but a flower headpiece for some added flare, designed and created by her!

We love it when we work with other artists, so if you have something fantastic to model, even if it's just you, come shoot with us.

One Man's Trash...

Is Another Man's Treasure

Here at DD Pro Imaging we are all about utilizing the space and items we already have at the studio to create a unique image. Instead of tossing away props used from previous shoots we incorporate them in different ways in other photo shoots. Sometimes we even include our own furniture, whatever works.

One of the best things a photographer can do is to make use of the things they already have. A boring shot can turn into one of the most interesting shots simply by creating a purpose.

For instance, a family photo can of course show all the family members, but why not find a way to actually show the relationship between members. In the next image we did just that.  By using silly string, don't ask why it was already at the studio, we were able to display the special friendship between brother and sister.

Remember although simple images can be beautiful, interesting images can also be alluring.

Behind the Mask

HiDDEN HiPStERS

Creativity is a major part of photography and when its time for a shoot its time to put on the thinking cap, or should I say thinking mask... high socks, heels, ladders or what ever else you can find that can assist in creating an interesting image.

For this particular shoot we decided to go with a hipster bunny mask. This shoot although a bit strange, had some sex appeal that even bunny Sephra, a beautiful model and an aspiring artist, couldn't hide.

Our amazing studio which is located in Somerville, MA has lots of hidden scenes. One being the  industrial elevator which we usually use for photo shoots rather than for its actual purpose.

Come shoot with us and find out what else we are hiding...

From Indoors to Outdoors Photoshoot

Weather It's Hot or Cold!

Today at DD Pro Imaging studio's, lead photographer and co-owner David Alves had the pleasure of working with model Julia Grechinenko. First the shoot started really hot and smokey, utilizing our awesome smoke machine.

However, once David felt like he captured the best shots of Julia indoors, it was Doga's turn. Doga is also a co-owner and lead photographer at DD Pro Imaging. Doga's idea of turning up the heat on this shoot was not something the model had planned for.

But, with a little enthusiasm from our intern and model Ginaya Greene, Julia agreed to Doga's outdoor request. What better way to finish a steamy shoot with something chill to talk about. Such as, a daring winter shoot on the roof (again)!

Boston has been dishing out some weather lately so why not incorporate Mother Nature herself and that's just what we do here!
