Having done some research as to what fashion trends are in style aka chic we decided to do a Victorian era theme which was perfect for the models statuesque figure.

The First Baby in Space

At D&D we strive to make our shoots unique and special for each person we work with. On this shoot the parents of this beautiful baby were determined to convey just how special their child is.

As children, many of us hoped to have become astronauts. However, as we grow and learn to understand just how life works, sometimes we let go of our childish dreams. But fortunately, we do not need to let go of that idea altogether. 

Let us keep that imagination flowing and incorporate your dreams into our work. This baby may never make it to mars, but he'll have a great story to share with these photos.

Nothing Drag about Drago

Calling All Fashionistas!

This week at DD Pro Imaging Studios, we had the pleasure of working with Designer Kelsey Drago. Drago is a high end women's wear apparel line based out of Boston. Her vision portrays a sense of maturity, simplicity and elegance and we were able to capture all that and more.
Each design is finished with a heavy emphasis on quality and an attention to detail. Her inspiration is drawn from her surroundings which translates into a sense of beauty and freedom in the daily life of each women.

 Owners and lead photographers at DD Pro Imaging, David and Doga had a great time photographing this beauty. Model Brittney Caron looked amazing in these timeless garments.

D&D Gives Back

Man's Best Friend

Today at DD Pro Imaging, Ginaya and Doga were able to not only play with man's best friend, but they had the pleasure of capturing our furry friend's personalities. In hopes to save their life and give these animals a permanent home D&D teamed up with Great Dog Rescue New England.

Great Dog Rescue New England (GDRNE) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit, shelter-less, all-breed rescue group headquartered in Massachusetts. Their group is comprised of volunteers all over New England who love dogs and want to help those that end up homeless through no fault of their own. Loyal and loving dogs turn up every day in New England and Southern shelters, as owners turn them in or they’re found roaming the streets after being dumped. To the best of our abilities, we evaluate all of our Great Dogs’ temperament and suitability for living with other dogs, cats, and children. A dog’s health is checked, and we make sure they are up-to-date on all shots and are spayed or neutered. Then, we place them in loving foster homes until they find their very own family. Our goal is to meet the needs of each dog as an individual and to assure proper placement in a loving forever home.

 By taking professional photo's of these new arrivals, both DD Pro Imaging and Great Dog Rescue New England hope to showcase each animal's charm. And believe them when they tell you how they had to resist not taking one or even all of them back to the studio.

Presenting the "Simple" Fashion shoot

Last weeks fashion shoot was a collaboration of beautiful garments which were picked and styled by our fashion intern Angela Katehis and awesome makeup by upcoming MUA Madi Doonan. The overall theme of the shoot was simplicity.

Today's fashion consists of many colors, patterns and visual deception. However, with this fashion shoot, simple garments were key. In this photo of our intern Ginaya Greene, simplicity was exactly what we we're going for and by adding some creative makeup we were able to pull off a simple, yet fashionable look.

 For the rest of the shoot we decided to add more accessories and clothing choices to add flair to the shoot even more so than just fun makeup. The next shots show a range of apparel and how simple lighting techniques and stylized posing can have a dramatic effect.

The look for the shoot was utilizing our entire studio from the industrial elevator to the enchanting stair case, which added a sense of sophistication to the garments. The background wasn't the only thing that added class but, the beautiful models added their own personality to the final image.
